Wow. These guys are the reason I ever got serious into electronic music, and in part why I'm a synth player now. I wanted to learn how to use Ableton as a teen because I read that was their go-to DAW. I saw Tron: Legacy in theaters - one of the few movies I've seen in theaters in 10+ years - because I knew they did the OST and cameo'd. Alive '07 is still probably my favorite live album and I've ALWAYS been bummed I never got to experience the pyramid in person. These guys are on par with The Beatles relative to their influence on electronic music and I always admired that they did everything on THEIR terms no matter who said what. I can't say I'm surprised but damn am I bummed. Thank you for all the memories gentleman, here's hoping you still produce or create in some capacity down the road.
